Vanna Albert, MD
Dr. Albert is an emergency medicine physician in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Baystate Medical Center-UMMS. She grew up in Brooklyn, NY and attended college in upstate New York. Thereafter, she attended Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where she received her MD and completed her residency in emergency medicine at Christiana Care.
After completion of residency, she completed an emergency medicine administration at Baystate-UMMS and obtained a masters of business administration at the Isenberg School of Management. She is an assistant professor of emergency medicine at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. She is passionate about caring for underserved populations. She has interests in documentation, billing and coding, administration and health equity.
